Jesus gave His life on the cross for you and me; but, on the third day, He rose again.  He defeated the devil and lives in heaven today.  His work on earth was finished, so now He works beyond.  For us to know our power and purpose on this earth we can’t get stuck at the cross.  We must always be thankful for what took place there, but like Jesus, we must go beyond!
